A total of 10 projects created in Estal glass bottles have been awarded at the prestigious Pentawards, the world's leading competition in packaging design.

Founded in Belgium in 2007, Pentawards brings together the world's top professionals in packaging design, with a jury composed of more than 50 experts from highly recognized international brands and agencies. These awards, known as the “Oscars of design”, serve as an indicator of the growing demand and sophistication in packaging design. It represents a meeting point for creators, manufacturers, and brands, where professionals and projects from numerous countries converge, highlighting diversity, creativity in design, and commitment to innovation and sustainability.

 

 

At Estal, each year we witness the spectacle of seeing projects that dress our bottles through brands or that come to light from projects as exciting as Make a Mark, being awarded. Winning a Pentaward goes beyond receiving recognition; it implies validation by experts. The submitted projects are evaluated by a jury of international renown, meaning that every nuance of the design has been recognized by the leading voices of the industry. The recognition is also international, as it is part of a global competition that opens doors to new opportunities for brands, designers, creators, and manufacturers. Thus, obtaining this recognition means being an inspiration for the industry. The winners set a new standard in excellence, innovation, and design each year, inspiring others and raising the overall quality of packaging design.

At Estal, we want to thank, once again, every designer who has brought their talent, creativity, and passion for packaging together with the glass of our bottles and jars. Working together, combining innovation, sustainability, design, and passion for this sector, has been a challenge, and the result is these 10 Pentawards.

 

In this edition, the 2023 edition, the following projects in glass bottles created at Estal or through Make a Mark, have been awarded:

 

It has received a Gold Award and a Bronze Award:

In the Beverages category, Spirits subcategory, the Nan Madol bottle by Estudio Maba. Make a Mark 2022.

 

It has received a Gold Award:

In the Sustainable Design category, Sustainable Design – Branding and Consumer subcategory, the Easyjar Wave jar from Estal housing OMel by Omdesign, Portugal.

 

It has received a Silver Award and a Bronze Award:

In the Beverages category, Wines (dark) subcategory, Altahy by Estudio Maba in an Oroshi bottle from Estal. And in the Bronze in the Sustainable Design category.

 

It has received a Silver Award:

In the Beverages category, Wine Collection (Mixed) subcategory of Perelada Wines Collection the creation by SERIESNEMO in the Wildly Crafted Marin bottle from Estal.

 

It has received a Silver Award:

In the Beverages category, Wine Collection (Mixed) subcategory the bottle designed by Spazio di Paolo for Vuciata – Brand Breeder in SM BG Essentia bottle from Estal.

 

It has received a Silver Award:

A project from the 2022 edition of Make a Mark, in the Professional Concepts category, Professional Conceptual Work – Sustainable Design subcategory. The bottle for Khus by Lonsdale Design, France.

 

It has received a Bronze Award:

In the Beverages category, Wine Light subcategory, the bottle for Wise Wolf by Banrock Station designed by Denomination. A statement of intent in favour of sustainability, in Wildly Crafted Natural bottle from Estal.

 

It has received a Bronze Award:

In the Body, Health & Beauty category, the Huff & Puff collection from Once Upon a Time, designed by Supperstudio with the Bubbles collection, eco-fragrances from Estal.

 

It has received a Bronze Award:

In the Body, Health & Beauty category, the Mirror Mirror design from Once Upon a Time, designed by Supperstudio with DA Tramo bottle from Estal.

 

Finally, it has received a Bronze Award:

In the Home, Leisure & Other Markets category, the Honesty creation from Once Upon a Time, designed by Supperstudio with the DA Upper candle from Estal.
